Field help: Do you have a current tax number (Steuernummer)?

Select "yes" if your current tax office has already assigned you a tax reference number. You can find the tax reference number on your last tax assessment notice.

If you have not yet received a tax reference number from your current tax office, select "no". A new tax reference number will then be automatically requested for you.

If a move means a new tax office is responsible for you, do NOT enter your old tax reference number here.
