Identification number
Enter your 11-digit tax identification number here. This is issued by the Federal Central Tax Office and is often referred to as the tax ID or IdNr.
You can find your tax ID, for example:
- on the last income tax assessment,
- on the pay-as-you-earn (PAYE) certificate or
- in letters from your tax office.
Note: If you do not have your tax ID, you can still submit the income tax return to the tax office. The tax ID is already known there.
Request tax ID again:
If you do not have your tax identification number, you can request it again from the Federal Central Tax Office. For data protection reasons, the notification will be sent by post.
