Religion
Indicate which religious denomination you belonged to in 2025.
If you changed religious denomination during the year, please select the denomination you belonged to in December 2025.
If you left the church in 2025, select the denomination you last belonged to. Also provide the period of your membership. No church tax is payable after leaving the church.
No church tax obligation:
Select "no religion / not subject to church tax" if you:
- did not belong to any church tax-collecting religious denomination for the entire year, or
- lived exclusively abroad in 2025 and were therefore not subject to church tax.
Other religious denomination:
If your religious denomination is not listed but is entitled to collect church tax, select "Other church tax-liable religious denomination".
Then enter the exact name of the religious denomination in the additional field provided.
SteuerGo will calculate the church tax in this case according to legal requirements.
