Field help: Is there a separate tax number for this activity?

If you already have a tax reference number for your freelance or self-employed work, select "yes".

When must a tax reference number be entered here?

The tax reference number is usually issued by the tax office when you start your self-employed work. It is usually not the same as the tax reference number for your personal income tax return.

If you have not yet received a separate tax reference number for your work – for example, because you have only recently started or have not yet earned any income –, please select "no".
