Field help: We as step-/grandparents claim the transfer of allowances.

Select "yes" if the child allowance and care allowance are to be transferred to you as a step or grandparent.

Conditions for the transfer:

• You have taken the child into your household, or
• You actually provide maintenance for the child or grandchild.
