Field help:
Is the father of the child officially ascertainable?
Select "yes" if the father of the child can be officially identified (e.g. through acknowledgment of paternity or entry on the birth certificate).
Select "no" if the father cannot be officially identified. This is particularly the case if
- the mother does not provide any information about the father, or
- the biological father is unknown or cannot be identified, e.g. in the case of treatment with anonymous sperm donation.
Example: The mother does not provide the registry office with details of a father → Select: "no"
