• Service charges (for owner-occupied flats)

• Rental expenses (e.g. advertisements, estate agent's commission)

Important: For dual housekeeping in Germany, accommodation costs, including additional costs, are tax-deductible up to a monthly maximum of 1.000 Euro – with proof (§ 9 para. 1 no. 5 EStG).
