Field help: Family relationship

Select the family relationship to the person in need of care.

If, for example, nursing and care services have been provided for the taxpayer's grandfather, "grandfather" must be selected as the relationship.

Even people who are not directly related can receive the care allowance if they have a close personal relationship with the person receiving care, for example:

• Life partners (not married)
• Close friends
• Neighbours
