Field help: Have you received statutory pensions from Germany or abroad?

Select "yes" here if you received a statutory pension in 2025 – regardless of whether the payments are from Germany or abroad.

This includes in particular:

• Pensions from the German Pension Insurance (DRV),
• Pensions from the agricultural pension fund,
• Pensions from an occupational pension scheme for certain professions (e.g. doctors or lawyers),
• A Rürup pension (basic pension) if you took it out yourself,
• Or a foreign statutory pension comparable to the German one (e.g. from Austria, Switzerland or the USA).

These pensions must be declared in the tax return because they are taxable in Germany.
