Enter a name for the capital gains received, for example, the name of the

Bank,
Life insurance company,
Pension insurance company,
Association of individuals,
Corporation,
Tax authorities (for tax refund interest),

which issued the tax statement or paid out the capital gains.

Since 2017, you no longer have to submit a tax statement for domestic capital gains with your tax return. However, you are subject to the so-called document retention obligation which means that you must be able to submit the tax statement later at the request of the tax office.

Only if you want to claim losses, or if taxes are to be credited to certain income, the tax statement must always be submitted together with the tax return.
