Field help: (2022) Is the current place of residence abroad?

Only select "Yes" if you do not have a current residence address in Germany. In this case, enter your full address abroad in the fields provided.

Your current address is required by the tax office for returning any documents and sending the official tax assessment notice (Steuerbescheid).
