Enter here the number of days on which you were absent from your apartment around the clock (i.e. from 0 to 24 o'clock) when travelling with an overnight stay for work-related reasons.
In this case, you are entitled to a meal allowance of 24 Euro in Germany. Abroad, country-specific allowances are granted depending on the country.
Your absence begins with the time you leave your home and ends with the time at which you return to it. The reason for the absence (working, traffic jam or other reason) is irrelevant.
If you go to your "primary place of work" before your business trip, your absence begins only when you leave this place.
Important: You can calculate meal allowances for the period from 01.01.2020 until 31.12.2020 (maximum of 91 days for each off-site work). You will not receive any meal allowances for days on which you did not work, for example, weekends, bank holidays or days on which you were sick.
