How do I submit my tax return with electronic data transfer?
You can submit your tax return directly to the tax office via SteuerGo. No additional software is required. Once you have completed your tax return, it will be validated, i.e. checked for errors.
If your tax return is correct, you can view the draft and then - if the information is complete and correct - send the data directly to the tax office.
For paper submission with electronic data transfer, the compressed tax return is provided in PDF format. You must print, sign, and send this "paper tax return" along with your documents to the tax office. The printout contains a generated tele number, which allows the tax officer to retrieve the printout with the electronic tax return.
Save a copy for your records.
