Identification number
Enter the 11-digit tax identification number that was sent to you by the Federal Central Tax Office in writing.
As a rule, your tax ID can also be found in the tax assessment notice or in the employment tax statement.
If you cannot find your tax ID, you can also submit your income tax return to your tax office without a tax ID. Your tax identification number is known there.
You can also request your tax ID from the Federal Central Tax Office (Bundeszentralamt für Steuern) again. The tax ID will then be sent to you by letter.
