We are forium GmbH.

We created the website https://www.steuergo.de/.

We want everyone to be able to use our website easily.

What does accessibility mean?

Accessibility means:

All individuals can use the website.

Even if someone:

• has impaired vision,
• has impaired hearing,
• cannot use a mouse,
• can only read texts slowly.

Our objective

Our website should be accessible.

This means as many people as possible can use the site.

What is considered accessible?

We have had the website checked.

Many things are already accessible.

What is not yet fully accessible?

Some aspects are not yet fully functional:

• Some colours are difficult to distinguish.
• Some input fields are not correctly labelled.
• When navigating with the keyboard, it is not always clear where you are.
• Some headings are missing or incorrectly ordered.
• Older PDF files may not be easily read by screen readers.

We are working to resolve these issues.

Why are some things not yet fully accessible?

Some older PDF files are very difficult to make accessible.

This would cost a lot of money and work.

Therefore, we have checked:

The work required would be a disproportionate burden for us.

Therefore, these PDFs are not yet accessible.

If anyone has problems with the PDFs, we are happy to help.

For example:

We explain the content over the phone.

Or we create a simpler version.

Who conducted the audit?

Another company tested the accessibility.

The testing included various methods:

• automated programmes (such as axe DevTools, WAVE),
• manual testing with keyboard and screen readers (e.g. NVDA, VoiceOver),
• testing according to international accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2, Level AA).

Is the declaration reviewed?

Yes.

We review this statement at least once a year.

The statement is also updated in the event of major changes to the website.
